I get compliments on my baby hawk every time I wear it out in public - which is often, because I never leave home without it. It's well made and machine washable and rated for up to 45 pounds. Wow!
The buckles make it easy to put on and adjust and it works great for chores around the home or chasing older kids while at the park. It was worth every dollar I paid and I can't recommend it enough!
After losing my Ergo in an airport I bought a Baby Hawk carrier and couldn't be more pleased! The Baby Hawk has less padding in the shoulders, but is just as comfortable there and with it's many more adjustments and better structured waist belt, the Baby Hawk is a joy to use.
I particularly like how you can carry baby high on your back so that baby can see over the shoulder. Very cool! In addition to the Ergo I lost, I've also owned a Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier and a Pikkolo. The Baby Hawk is my favorite with the Pikkolo a close second. Don't even bother with the Bjorn or the Ergo.
